FOUNDERS MEET · BY DROIDDO
A 90-day program for talented people exiting big tech who’d rather build than re-apply.
Free. No spam. The PDF arrives in your inbox in under a minute.
SECTION 01
Tech is shedding its most talented people right now. Most of them are about to do the same thing they did the last time someone got laid off: open LinkedIn, switch the headline, polish the resume, spam applications.
Founders Meet is for the ones who suspect there’s a better move. We match talented people exiting big tech with the co-founders they need to start something — and give them a 90-day operating plan to ship a real company while the severance still covers rent.
It’s a small program. The first cohort is fifty people. The matching is hand-curated. The follow-through is what determines whether you have a company at day 90.
SECTION 02

RUNWAY MATH
Calculate your real runway honestly, before you make a decision you can’t reverse.
THREE DOORS
A framework for deciding whether this path is yours, or whether you should take the job and revisit.
CO-FOUNDER SELECTION
The four dimensions that actually predict whether the partnership survives.
THE 25-DAY MVP DOCTRINE
Ship something embarrassing in front of a real human by day 75.
AI-NATIVE BUILD STACK
How a 4-person team in 2026 ships what 40 shipped in 2018.
THE DAY-90 DECISION
Four questions that separate “we built a thing” from “we have a business.”
SECTION 03
Step 01
The application is one page. We ask about your runway, your skills, what you’d build if you could build anything, and what you’ve shipped before. The first fifty applicants who clear the bar are in.
Step 02
Matching is hand-curated by Flo for the first cohort. You’ll meet two or three potential co-founders we think you should build with — based on complementary skills, compatible operating tempo, and aligned problem interests. The intros come with a suggested first conversation and a 48-hour build challenge that filters out anyone you’d regret signing papers with.
Step 03
We give you the 90-day playbook, a structured cadence, and access to the droidDo toolkit so a four-person team can operate like a fifty-person company. At day 90, you have a team, a product, and at least one human paying you money — or you have very clear data that this wasn’t the moment, and you’ve lost nothing but a quarter you’d otherwise have spent job hunting.
SECTION 04
This is a hard program. It’s not for everyone, and pretending otherwise would waste your time and ours.
LESS THAN 6 MONTHS OF RUNWAY
This isn’t your moment. Take the job, rebuild savings, revisit in 18 months. There’s no shame in this door, and the window will still be open.
6 TO 12 MONTHS, NO DEPENDENTS, ONE OBSESSION
This is your decision zone. Apply if you can articulate a problem you actually care about. We’ll be honest with you about whether we think the cohort is the right fit.
12+ MONTHS AND READY TO STOP WAITING
The case for trying is overwhelming. Apply. Even if you’re not sure yet, the application process itself will sharpen your thinking.
SECTION 05
Fifty seats. Closing when full. Flo reads every application personally.
SECTION 06
I spent years at Meta Reality Labs watching some of the most talented people on earth get absorbed into roadmaps that didn’t deserve them. When the layoff waves started, I watched the same people do exactly what the script told them to do — go find another roadmap. Most of them shouldn’t have.
I built droidDo because I think the next generation of consequential companies will be tiny — four or five people running on AI infrastructure that compresses what used to take a hundred. Founders Meet is how those teams find each other.
The program is honest about what it is. It’s a droidDo project. The people who form teams here become droidDo customers because the product solves the operating problem a tiny team has, not because we required it. If you’re skeptical of that, good — read the playbook, decide for yourself.

SECTION 07
Is this an accelerator? Do you take equity?
No. Founders Meet is free. We don’t take equity, we don’t charge for matching, and we don’t gate the playbook. droidDo makes money when teams that form here become customers — which they do because the product is genuinely useful for tiny teams, not because we lock anyone in.
Why is droidDo running this?
Because the companies we want as customers — small AI-native teams of three to five people — mostly don’t exist yet. They’re sitting inside FAANG, getting paid to maintain dashboards. This program is the most honest way I know to help them become the kind of customer we serve, on their timeline, not ours.
Do you accept people who aren’t from big tech?
Yes. The “exiting big tech” framing reflects who the moment is hardest for right now, but the program is open to anyone with the runway, skill, and seriousness to apply. We’ve designed it for senior operators with real shipped work behind them.
What if I don’t have an idea yet?
That’s fine if you have shipped work, a domain you know deeply, and a willingness to spend the first three weeks of the program getting clear on a problem. It’s not fine if you’re hoping the program will hand you an idea. Founders Meet helps you find people; the problem is on you.
How do I know you’ll actually read my application?
The first cohort is fifty people. I’ll read every application personally and respond within a week. If we get more applications than we can handle for cohort two, we’ll be transparent about that and adjust the process.
